Pouring In 02:32
Cross-legged on the floor like so many school children Waiting for teacher to come Safe but unsure there’s hard times ahead for them How will this journey be done? And oh, oh Come pouring in at four in the morning On your skin the first light of day It all begins with no sign or warning And it will take your breath away There’s no time to ask where do you come from And how do you know you’re alive Stick to the task, let go of everything See where it takes you inside And oh, oh Come pouring in at four in the morning On your skin the first light of day It all begins with no sign or warning And it will take your breath away Come pouring in at four in the morning On your skin the first light of day It all begins with no sign or warning And it will take your breath away

“There’s a pretty nice view from Mount Tinbeerwah” Said Kathleen McArthur to her friend Judith Wright On a bright Summer’s day “And I don’t know about you but my greatest fears are That someone will take all this beauty away So let’s fight, oh let’s fight for it I say” She was a wildflower woman saving Australia one flower at a time She had fire in her heart and she didn’t mind crossing the line “You can see all the way to Double Island Point But those greedy miners want to dig up the joint And the rainbow sand will not be the same And this gorgeous coastline is a real work of art We could turn it all into a National Park If we play, ooh, if we play the right game” So Kathleen McArthur and a few of her friends formed an activist cell It was the best of its kind yeah their direct action worked well, yeah it worked very well Now Joh Bjelke-Petersen was the Premier back then It was long before texting or emails began He cared more for the mines than he did for the land So Kathleen created postcards to send With a delicate flower and a brutal demand It took 15,000 cards to change his mind It was a long, long struggle but they finally broke him in ‘73 And Cooloola was saved, for you and for me Now this story ends happy but others may not There’s still greedy miners who want what we’ve got So let’s not forget the lessons we’ve learned From Kathleen McArthur and her poet friend Who saw an injustice and fought ‘til it ended It’s time, yeah it’s time for hope to return She was a wildflower woman saving Australia one flower at a time She had fire in her heart and now she’s lit one in mine She was a wildflower woman saving Australia one flower at a time She had fire in her heart and now she’s lit one in mine Yeah she’s lit one in mine

Somebody told me I might live to regret it Well there’s only one way to find out Up on my shoulder there’s a chip don’t forget it Maybe that’s what this whole thing’s about And every day is a chance to bring this back from the brink If we can hold it steady When all this is over we’ll be sleeping like koalas In the daytime honey, daytime With the scent and the sound of the forest in our heart Nature’s playtime honey, playtime Woah yeah woah yeah woah yeah Everyone walk into the rain for a minute And we’ll spend the whole day getting wet Life is a train and I’m still waiting to be on it Though the engine seems a pretty good bet And every day is a chance to bring this back from the brink If we can hold it steady When all this is over we’ll be sleeping like koalas In the daytime honey, daytime With the scent and the sound of the forest in our heart Nature’s playtime honey, playtime Woah yeah woah yeah woah yeah

Cumulonimbus 02:52
Cumulonimbus you drift on a canvas like snow Casting your shadows on hillside and valley below And the world at your feet carries me in Total defeat, new life begins Time now to meet everything Cumulonimbus you go wherever the wind blows You be the Summer and I’ll be the reason to go And the beautiful place, the unpleasant sting Silent disgrace, the coming of Spring Time now to face everything And the colours I see, the darkness they bring Disharmony, the songs that I sing Time now to be everything

Bucket List 02:19
Oh I wanna write one good song before I die Something quite relatable might even make you cry Or want to climb the highest mountain, spread your wings and fly Yeah I wanna write one good song before I die Oh I wanna do one good thing before I go Help a little old lady to cross the road or something I don’t know Maybe save a drowning puppy or shovel someone’s snow Yeah I wanna do one good thing before I go Oh oh oh what is this? I ‘ve got my bucket list But I’m not kicking it And I’ll never grow old No no no Oh I wanna eat one good meal before I croak KFC and Maccas, what a bloody joke Give me home-grown tomato, organic kale and artichoke Yeah I wanna eat one good meal before I croak Oh I wanna have one good laugh before I’m done Life’s way too serious I wanna have some fun You know that laughter is contagious we can infect everyone Yeah I wanna have one good laugh before I’m done Oh oh oh what is this? I ‘ve got my bucket list But I’m not kicking it And I’ll never grow old No no no Oh I wanna write one good song before I die Something quite relatable might even make you cry Or want to climb the highest mountain, spread your wings and fly Yeah I wanna write one good song before I die Oh I wanna write one good song before I die

If you wanna climb the mountain you gotta start out in the valley ‘Cause you don’t have wings to take you to the crest If you got something on your mind just try to find some peace within you If you’re burdened try to get it off your chest If you wanna cross the river, you gotta wade into the water No matter how fast it seems to flow Hold onto your ideas, lonely tears can be quite painful But in the end you know they often help you grow Whoa I can hear your spirit calling Whoa crying out upon the wind Whoa and I know you’re scared of falling Through the cracks that open up to let the light back in If you wanna start the journey you gotta find a path to lead you And strength enough to take that crucial step Then let momentum gather, walk alone or all together This could be your most important journey yet Whoa I can hear your spirit calling Whoa crying out upon the wind Whoa and I know you’re scared of falling Through the cracks that open up to let the light back in Whoa I can hear your spirit calling Whoa crying out upon the wind Whoa and I know you’re scared of falling Through the cracks that open up to let the light back in If you wanna climb the mountain you gotta start out in the valley ‘Cause you don’t have wings to take you to the crest If you got something on your mind just try to find some peace within you If you’re burdened…try to get it off your chest

I’ve met some interesting people Who wear the most outrageous clothes Some have tattoos over most of their bodies And rings through their eyebrows and their nose Some folks they wear so much make-up That you can hardly even see who it is Oh but I think people are like sandwiches And all the rest is just showbiz Oh you can wrap it up in multigrain or sourdough rye Throw on hempseed in large amounts But it’s all for show ‘cause everybody knows It’s what you put in the middle that counts my friend It’s what you put in the middle that counts Oh you can wrap it up in multigrain or sourdough rye Throw on hempseed in large amounts But it’s all for show ‘cause everybody knows It’s what you put in the middle that counts my friend It’s what you put in the middle that counts

Put It Down 03:17
Put your head upon my table put it down To the things you want and are not able to have now Put your head upon my table put it down To the things you want and are not able to have now You always want the best for me Like a river wants to meet the sea A life of peace and harmony Could be perfect for you Could be perfect for you and me Put your head upon my shoulder put it down To the wheels that turn as you get older turn around Put your head upon my shoulder put it down To the wheels that turn as you get older turn around I always want the best for you Like a child who wants to see the view I hope that you can see it too Could be perfect for me Could be perfect for me and you Put your head upon my pillow put it down To the weeping of an ancient willow, border town Put your head upon my pillow put it down To the weeping of an ancient willow, border town You always want the best for me Like a river wants to meet the sea A life of peace and harmony Could be perfect for you Could be perfect for you and me

I was talking to a friend the other day Least our paths have crossed a couple of times We’ve sung the songs, drunk the wine And his words have helped me more than I can say And when I’m in trouble, I often turn his way See my life’s been on a pretty even keel I’ve learned to steer my own ship Through fortune and hardship And both feel better when I’m at the wheel But right now a wreck is what I feel He said “I see this as a minor setback On a journey you’ve been travelling really well And if you’re going through hell, ah well in that case You’d better keep going” And I learned all this a long, long time ago About purpose and mission and trusting intuition I even came close to letting go How did I lose that? I don’t know ‘Cause now I walk the floor at 3am The thoughts come rushing, the weight is crushing I’m being pulled to safety once again I think I’ll make the shore but I don’t know when He said “I see this as a minor setback On a journey you’ve been travelling really well And if you’re going through hell, ah well in that case You’d better keep going” Aah, aah, aah, aah And the antidote to fear is always faith Believe in the journey, stay true to your learning And try to keep a smile upon your face And if you stumble that’s no disgrace And there are plenty of us with you on that road Some follow behind you, some up ahead to guide you There’s even one who’s carrying your load We call it The Healing Code Now I see this as a minor setback On a journey I’ve been travelling really well And if I’m going through hell, ah well If I’m going through hell, ah well in that case I’d better keep going

Have you ever noticed how nothing stays the same A world of chaos is constantly rearranging If you try to hold it all together with your mind then you’re bound to fail Better just going with it, just going with it Become the water, become the air Every little particle is changing Become the seasons, become the rarest of things Become everything Do you find it easy to fall asleep at night? Or are your thoughts still racing at a million miles an hour? Don’t try to stop them with the power of your mind ‘cause you’re bound to fail Better just going with it, just going with it Become the water, become the air Every little particle is changing Become the seasons, become the rarest of things Become everything And most of all try to become an impartial observer And let yourself succumb, let yourself… Become the water, become the air Every little particle is changing Become the seasons, become the rarest of things Become everything Become everything

Well I’m tired of trying to hold it all together You know it never really works anyhow It’s as pointless as trying to change the weather Should have learned that by now Gotta shift and bend So this old life can mend Gotta shift and bend Well you know you’ve always been my biggest saviour And it’s been that way right from the start Astonishing and beautiful behaviour And it won you my heart Gotta shift and bend So this old life can mend Gotta shift and bend You could be tied to all you live by You could be drifting on the sea You could be watching this all go by You could be happy in your own company Well I guess we’re never really out of danger I’m keeping one eye on the coast Surviving on the kindness of strangers You know that hurts the most Gotta shift and bend So this old life can mend Gotta shift and bend Gotta shift and bend So this old life can mend Gotta shift and bend Gotta shift and bend Gotta shift and bend
